Cocoa Beach Wedding
Laura + Denver Knot Tying Ceremony
Venue: Private home, Cocoa Beach, Florida
Florals: Suntree Florist
Caterer: El Ambia
What a complete treat it was to be part of Laura and Denver’s Cocoa Beach Wedding. Well, it was actually a knot tying ceremony which was even better! Our Florida skies did not disappoint! A beautiful day for a beautiful couple!
Laura and Denver first meet while working on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Laura was a photographer on the ship (how cool is that?!) and Denver worked in the engine room. Side note..this is my second wedding where the couple meet on a ship! Looking to meet Mr. Right? Perhaps consider talking a job on a ship! It seemed fitting to have subtle nautical themes running throughout there day.
This ceremony was meant to celebrate their union with Laura’s family and friends here in Florida. A Knot Tying Ceremony was just perfect for them- full of symbolism indeed! Friends and family looked on as Laura’s parents lead the sweet ceremony. I might add…if you are planning on having a knot tying ceremony be sure to practice the knots first! Even with practice it may be a little tricky! The couple expertly tied a fisherman’s knot, which when pulled only strengthens. Want to learn how to tie a fisherman’s knot?
One of Laura’s rings is even a delicate gold knot. I love it and think I’m slightly obsessed with knots now!
Denver has the BEST smile!
It was a perfect evening on Cocoa Beach– just a tad windy!
Such a pretty backdrop for a wedding.
Oh goodness, this beach wedding looks incredible!!
Congrats to the happy couple, what a GORGEOUS location for a wedding!
Beautiful! I love the location!
